Frozen Wild Strawberries

These little strawberries are delicious on toast or drizzled with cream.

  2 cups unwashed, hulled wild strawberries
 1/4 sugar

Sprinkle the sugar over the strawberries and allow to melt at room temperature about 1 to 2 hours until a juice forms.

Place strawberries in small canning jars up to 1 inch from the edge and drizzle with the juice. Close the jars well and freeze.

To enjoy, thaw in the refrigerator and put on toast, ice cream or a white cake.
