Homemade barbecue basting sauce

A delicious fast sauce to prepare to spread on your grill food and you can freeze the sauce for the warm season coming.

 1/2 cup (125 ml) ketchup
 1/3 cup (75 ml) cider vinegar
 1/4 cup (60 ml ) maple syrup
 2 teaspoon (10 ml) dry mustard
 15 ml 1 tablespoon (15 ml ) chili powder
 5 ml 1 teaspoon (5 ml ) grated fresh ginger
 15 ml 1 tablespoon (15 ml ) Worcestershire sauce
 15 ml 1 tablespoon (15 ml ) soya sauce
 15 ml 1 tablespoon (15 ml ) vegetable oil
 15 ml 1 tablespoon (15 ml ) fresh lemon juice
 2 ml ½ teaspoon (2 ml) Tabasco
 5 ml 1 teaspoon (5 ml ) onion powder ( optional)
 2 ml ½ teaspoon (2 ml) mild smoked paprika fumé (optional)

Mix all the ingredients in a small saucepan and cook over medium heat for 8 minutes [/ cooked-timer] stirring frequently with a wooden spoon.
