It takes less than 2 hours to cook these delicious and tender Maple Syrup Baked Beans.

Sort the beans to remove the damaged ones and make sure there are no pebbles. Rinse under cold running water in a colander.
Pour the 6 cups (1.5 liter) of water and salt in the inner pot and stir to dissolve the salt. Add the beans and let soak for 8 to 10 hours.
Put the beans in a colander, drain and rinse under cold running water. Rinse the inner pot.
Put the beans, syrup, pepper and salted pork in the inner pot. Bury onion in beans and add 2 1/2 cups (625 ml ) of cold water.

Put the lid on and set the pressure release button to Sealing. Select "bean/chili,pressure or manual", set 25 minutes to "high" with "warm to off". Press on start. (The Instant Pot will take about 15 minutes before the cooking begins)
When the end of cooking alarm sound, let stand 30 Minutes before releasing pressure.
