This sauce is delicious mixed with plain yogurt, serve on ice cream, butter cake or cream puffs.

Strawberry Sauce

 600 g (4 cups) fresh or frozen strawberries, sliced
 1 cup (200 g) sugar

In a medium saucepan, over very low heat, stirring occasionally, bring all the ingredients to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 15 Minutes. Cool to room temperature before serving. This sauce will keep for a week in the refrigerator and will freeze for 1 year.
